Mako and Raleigh move to Japan primarily on the basis of Mako's engineering background to reconstruct a power grid for the new city rebuild. Raleigh's brain concentrates more on boots-on-the-ground kind of stuff: building a porch for the tiny-ass house they're living in, etc etc. He has received numerous invitations for boxing/fighting matches being held different places - all haphazard, but the one he accepts earlier this day is more of an exhibition hanbo sparring thing held in the neighborhood.

Basically, Raleigh's not home when Mako gets home, and when he does he will be all sweaty. Go!]

She purses her lips to hide a smile.

"What was I doing?"

"More or less what you were doing when I woke up.

"All my dreams come true," Raleigh drawls.

"Who says I am doing anything now?"

That hand very deliberately slides out of the neutral zone and back up to his shoulder.

Raleigh rolls off his side of the bed, standing again to pull at Mako by the ankles to bring her legs off the edge.

"Am I doing something now?"

She's grinning as she slides to the edge, black and blue strands fanned out around her face.

"Are you?"

"Think so -- "

And Raleigh's hands on Mako's hips give him the best leverage to press against her - inside her - and all the while she is just...all here.

She's swayed, felled, arching underneath him, her hands sliding down to form tight cuffs around his wrists.
